It is situated on the outskirts of Kerrykeel village. The cottage is part of a modern holiday home development and features well maintained grounds and safe driveways. From the large balcony to the front of the house there is an uninterrupted view down to the shores of Mulroy Bay
The village of Kerrykeel itself is situated on the Fanad Peninsula. This beautiful peninsula stretches north from the village of Milford via Kerrykeel to Fanad Head and back down to the quaint Georgian village of Ramelton via Portsalon and Rathmullan.
It has some of the most remarkable cliff scenery in Ireland, including outstanding examples of marine erosion. The peninsula has numerous bays, glorious beaches, rugged mountains, rolling hills and numerous small lakes. On the western shores of the peninsula the renowned Knockalla coast road offers a spectacular drive overlooking Lough Swilly and the Inishowen hills.
A 10 minute drive from the cottage will bring you to the holiday village of Portsalon where you will find a wonderful blue flag beach and a top class golf course. Portsalon Golf Club has been extensively redesigned in the last few years and is now one of the finest links courses in Donegal.
Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro 100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
